Investing in new plumbing equipment and servicing current machinery
At Mayfair Plumbing we pride ourselves on owning some of the latest pieces of plumbing equipment. Items such as drain camera inspection equipment, hydro jet drain cleaners and backflow valve testing apparatus.
We have recently invested in a new Warthog drain cleaning nozzle from Clean Machine located in Wingfield. The Warthog nozzle is used with our Honda powered hydro Jet drain cleaning machine. This nozzle can receive up to 5000kpa of pressure and approx. 30 litres per minute of water into the drains. This rotating nozzle uses one offset front jet and 2 rear jets. The front jet does majority of the cutting while the rear jets do majority of the propulsion.
With a piece of equipment like this you need to perform regular maintenance. The manufacturers recommend that after each drain clean the nozzle should be cleaned. This involves the removal of a small flat head screw and the injection of low viscos slow oil. By doing this it keeps all the components inside the nozzle well lubricated and allows the Warthog nozzle to perform its task correctly.
