If you own a hot water service which has or is compatible with a temperature controller, then you are certainly well onto the way of having one of the most energy efficient water heaters on the market today.

Advantages

There are numerous advantages to having one or multiple controllers connected to your hot water service when installed at your home or the office.

• Energy saving: By adjusting the temperature to a lower level for example 42 degrees the gas burner does not need to work as hard to heat the water and therefore saves energy in only heating the water to the desired temperature.  If the water temperature is then required to be higher for washing dishes or doing laundry it can then be dialled up to 50 degrees.
• Safety: Hot water can be extremely dangerous for young children and elder when we look at scalding.  The advantage of a temperature controller is that the waters temperature can be locked at a safe temperature.  For example, 40 degrees is considered not to be harmful and still acceptable for bathing.  By locking the water heaters temperature out at 40 degrees it will guarantee a safe environment for children and the elderly.

Compatibility
